Established in 1986, the Four Lake Authority was designed to further economic development, improve employment opportunities, and develop the resources in Macon, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale and Wilson counties.
Located at the former TVA Nuclear Site, the 446-acre PowerCom Industrial Center has numerous buildings available for lease or purchase. The site features water, sewer, natural gas lines, dual-feed electric power, Cumberland River access, clean air attainment and warehousing/incubator space.
The PowerCom Industrial Center is certified as a target-industry specific site through TVA’s Automotive Certification by McCallum-Sweeney Consulting. The site is also a “Deal Ready” sited certified through the Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association. Local workforce training is provided by the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville.
In addition, Tennessee Central offers an unique industrial/manufacturing incubator program located at the PowerCom Industrial Center.
